With exciting activities such as tubing, swimming, extreme night games, kayaking, and so much more. You will never run out of fun things to do. You will also experience the quality, gourmet meals that Camp Shetek is known for.

Our main focus is to help all visitors learn and grow in their walk with Jesus Christ. You will enjoy this intentional aspect that is woven throughout the entire day. From games to chapel services, cabin devotions to quiet time, everyone loves experiencing the spiritual focus with other camp friends and family.

  • Arrival: In order to attend their week of camp, all campers must be present at 2:30 on Monday afternoon for registration, orientation, team meetings, and cabin assignments. No late arrives are accepted.

Departures: Campers are highly encouraged to make every effort possible to enjoy the entire week of camp. Many campers regret missing out on friends and fun when leaving early. We understand that some schedules may conflict with camp. If a camper must leave camp for family or personal reasons, an Early Departure Form must be completed. Campers who leave camp are not allowed to return.

If you have any questions, please contact the camp.

  • We fully understand a parent’s desire to stay in contact with their child; however, we have found camper cell phones and other communication devices to be a distraction.

Furthermore, these devices pose liability issues for camp and camper safety. For these reasons, we require campers to do one of the following:

    1. Leave these devices at home which is preferred

    2. Turn in communication devices at check-in.

  • In short, we believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and is who he claims to be. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” - (John 14:6)

For more specific information, please refer to our about page.

  • Yes! Upon arrival, campers can create groups of 2, 3, or 4 to become cabin mates. Campers in the same cabin are also on the same team.

If you do not have any known friends attending camp, that is just fine. Many kids come to camp alone. Everyone can easily make friends that first day, and our staff is very caring and inclusive.

  • Yes! We have other churches and Christian groups who have rented the camp for various weeks or weekends. Please contact the camp for more information and availability.
